Practical Information
When?
The Summer Academy will take place from June 27 to July 1, 2022.
Where?
The participation at the Summer Academy will take place in a hybrid format, both on-line and at VUB premises
Language?
English.
For whom?
The summer academy is aimed at legal practitioners, public and private sector data protection professionals - including compliance officers, data protection officers, data policy officers - civil society professionals, early career academic researchers and others who work in the areas of privacy and data protection law. Prior familiarity with the data protection field is required.
How to register?
Places are limited in order to guarantee the best possible experience to all participants. If you wish to enrol, please express your interest by sending a short cover letter (max 350 words) and a biography (max 300 words) to Lina Jasmontaite (lina.jasmontaite@vub.be).
25 April 2022 - Deadline for the expression for interest by aspirant attendees.
14 May 2022 - Selected participants will be informed about the result of the selection procedure.
31 May 2022 - Deadline for registration & payment for selected participants.

Early Career Academics: 825 €
Civil Society: 600 €
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be done in writing.
Cancellation less than two weeks before the beginning of the summer academy: No refund available.
